NW HISTORIC ENVIRONMENT FORUM
SUMMER CONFERENCE

In 2003, following a period of consultation, the NW Historic Environment Forum (HEF) published an agenda for the historic environment. This agenda identified 6 themes for action for the sector over the 5 years, they were; image of the region, learning and kills, quality of life, urban renaissance, rural renaissance and tourism. By 2008 it is time to review that agenda and consider what changes (if any) should be made – leading to the establishment of a new agenda for the next 5 years. This year’s annual HEF conference, run again in conjunction with Heritage Link, is an opportunity to listen to short presentations on the current position on the 6 themes in the region, and also to discuss what you think should be the new agenda for the North West’s historic environment

All are invited – from the Voluntary Sector, NW Historic Environment Forum Members, Heritage Agencies, Regional Bodies, Local and Central Government, Elected Members, Professional Practices, Academics, Funding Bodies – everyone with an interest in heritage
